The U was an exciting place to be as the 2002 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games arrive in Salt Lake City. The campus will be bustling with activity hosting the Olympic Village, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies at Rice-Eccles Stadium and a variety of cultural events.

  In preparation for the Games-related events on campus, many of the U parking lots and spaces were not available to students, staff and faculty. As a result, many individuals enjoyed the convenience and ease of other commuting options. Although, parking conditions have returned to mostly-normal conditions, we encourage everyone to continue to utilize public transportation.
