Pre-Audit Survey

The first thing we do is called a "pre-audit" survey. That includes the opening conference.

We'll review:

previous audits or analyst projects done by our office,
applicable policies, procedures, rules, regulations and statutes,
your web site, if you have one,
all the documents and information you provided us during and immediately following the opening conference,
your Internal Control Self Assessment, if one was done,
your financial accounts, as reported in PeopleSoft, and
your suggestions as to what are important areas or possible risk areas we should look at.

 

As the final part of the pre-audit process, we finalize the audit plan.
