Horsehead Nebula

This image of the Horsehead Nebula (NGC2024) was taken with our 140mm refracting finder scope and a Canon digital camera. The nebula is a reflection and dark nebula in the constellation Orion south of the star Alintak in Orion's belt. To the left of the image is the Flame Nebula, another reflection nebula.
