Welcome to the Graduate Advisors Professional Association web site and to a new year at the U.! We all know a fresh year brings with it excitement, stress and, new experiences and students. We also all know how great having a support system in place can be when dealing with the stress and new experiences and students.
The GAPA is the support system for graduate advisors. Educational sessions help us learn and revisit topics, while networking opens new doors for us and our students.
The great thing about GAPA is it is a helpful group for us all, whether we have been advising for 15 years or are just starting.
Please glance over the website for upcoming workshops and more information. All graduate advisors are encouraged to join GAPA by signing up for the List Serve. The List Serve is a medium for getting the word out about trainings and meetings, and can be used to share information and ask questions of one another.
Your input and thoughts are always welcome to help us expand our services and trainings.
