What is included in an Audit Report?
If you look at the Table of Contents in a typical report you’ll find the following items. Under the Recommendations and Responses section, the title of each "Finding" which resulted in a recommendation and the departmental response will be listed.

| Executive Summary (A brief overview of the major issues in the report.) | ||
| Areas Reviewed and Results (A table summarizing the areas we audited.) | ||
| Recommendations and Responses | ||
| Including the department's written response to each recommendation | ||
| Response by the cognizant Vice President | ||
| Appendix | ||
| Additional Information (anything the Audit Department thinks will add to the report.) | ||
| Audit Report Distribution List (a list of who we distribute the report to - see "Who Sees the Audit Reports?" for more information.) | ||
