*Programs with 24 or more enrolled students will automatically receive a graduate assistant with a $1,000 stipend.

Central Administration will reimburse departments $25 for each SCH generated in a study abroad program.  (Example: 3 SCH from one student equals $75; if a program enrolls 25 students with 6 credits each, the department will receive $3,750).

The International Center will continue to reimburse program directors for their program related expenditures.

Departments may use the compensation and SCH funding at their discretion. For example, departments may choose to pay a faculty program director the full amount to direct a program. Alternatively, the direction of a study abroad program may be counted toward a faculty member’s regular teaching load.
