This page is your definite guide, if you have been accepted into the U, and are making preparations to come here. We have provided you with documents that you can view offline, which will guide you through the entire process and provide you with useful tips while traveling among other things. We will advise you on what to carry with you when you go, where to go once you get here, and things you need to care of before the semester starts.

1. Travelling Tips: What to do after you have received an admit from the U, and your visa from the Embassy/Consulate... make travel plans, and start packing. Contains a recommended list of things to bring with you. Quantity may vary from person to person.

2. After Your Arrival: Congratulations! You made it through that agonizingly long trans-Atlantic (or -Pacific, depending which way you came!) flight. Now it's time to care of business. Read this document that will inform you of all the tiny little things that need taking care of before your classes start.

Pick-ups and Temporary Accomodation

ISA will try its best to provide pickups and temporary accomodation to all new Indian students until they get settled in SLC.

• Please use the PICKUP REQUEST FORM to request any or both of these services. Please note that while we will be trying our best to help you out, we strongly urge you to find an accommodation of your own before coming to SLC. ISA's capacity of assisting the students is limited die to various constraints.
  
  
• Please use the PICKUP CONFIRMATION SHEET to find out if you pick-up request has been accommodated. If there is an empty column in front of your name, it means we are working on your request.
  
  
• Please use the ACCOMMODATION GUIDE to find the available rental apartments near the University Area. Please note that it is just a suggestive list.
  
  

Remember...

...to read all three documents carefully. It may seem like a lot to do, but it is necessary to get as much of an idea of what you're supposed to do once you get here, before you actually get here.
