On-Campus
Student

parties like Crimson
Nights and Redfest, to finishing up a homework assignment
or just taking a nap on a couch, U of U students enjoy a lot
of time at the Union. A food court, billiard & game room,
bowling alley, copy center, and computer lab are located on
the first floor, with ballrooms, an art gallery, and meeting
rooms on the second, third, and fourth floors. The Union is
also home to ASUU (the U's Student Government), the Daily
Utah Chronicle, and a number of other student groups and
services.
Marriott

The
Marriott Library is home to more than two million books, a
small café, a large computer lab, and a plethora of
places to study. Students may listen to visiting speakers
in the Gould Auditorium, study in small groups in "the fishbowl," take free computer-training courses, or just curl up with
a good book.

Whether
it's the Einar Nielsen Field House, the HPER complex, or the
9th hole on the campus golf course, students gather at Campus
Rec facilities to enjoy a little diversion from the books.
Other amenities include basketball and volleyball gymnasiums,
the natatorium, circuit weights, cardio machines, indoor tennis
courts, handball/racquetball courts, squash courts, a 200-meter
jogging track, dance studio, student lounge, locker rooms/showers,
and saunas and whirlpools.

Heritage Commons area. From watching a free movie in the historic
Post Theater, to unwinding in the game and exercise rooms
, to just hanging out in the Commons with friends , students
find the campus community alive and well.
Off-Campus
The University of Utah
is located in beautiful Salt Lake City, allowing students
to take advantage of all the area has to offer. And with a free public transit pass and student
discounts offered for everything from pizza to skiing, students
can easily access their favorite stomping grounds off-campus.
