As a member of NSCS, we strive to embody these qualities.


-Leadership
There are many opportunities of leadership within NSCS.
In our chapter and national activities, we have the chance to work in teams and gain essential skills applicable to our careers ahead.

-Character
In our honor society we learn to develop characteristics of not only performance and accomplishment, but also cooperation and service. We strive for integrity; holding ourselves accountable for our actions. We develop qualities that could help us become successful in our endeavors throughout life.




-NSCS, qualifications of Membership
NSCS recognizes outstanding academic achievement among first- and second-year college students. Membership is based on grade point average and class standing, and is by invitation only.

-Opportunity
NSCS aims to honor, inspire and engage its members, and offers benefits including scholarships, leadership development, travel opportunities and career resources.
NSCS has active chapters at 226 colleges and universities nationwide. Chapters are involved in service to their campus and local communities, as well as scholastic and social activities.
