  1. Bookstore Advisory and Review Committee
    Reviews Bookstore policies and procedures and recommends revisions to the administration; provides advice to Bookstore management and University administration for the effective and efficient operation of the Bookstore as a service to the University community; reports to the Vice President for Administrative Services.


  2. Campus Health and Safety Committee
    Serves as an advisory committee to the Vice-President for Administrative Services; makes recommendations and advocates for the safe operation of the University; advises and assists various offices regarding hazardous situations or activities that could lead to losses due to injuries, illnesses, releases, or penalties; reports to the Vice President for Administrative Services.


  3. Campus Recreation Committee
    Reviews and recommends changes to policies, programs, budgets, and facilities for campus recreation including open, outdoor, and intramural activities, as well as all related sports clubs; advises the Director of Campus Recreation on matters of programming; reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs.


  4. Employment and Discrimination Complaints Hearing Panel
    Provides special hearing committees to conduct formal hearings on complaints from faculty, staff members, or students charging improper discrimination based upon race, color, ethnic, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, religion, age, lack of American citizenship, disability, or veteran status; also considers and makes recommendations concerning appeals from personnel actions; reports to the President through the cognizant vice president.


  5. Financial Aid and Scholarships Committee
    Advises the Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships and the Vice President for Student Affairs on matters of policy and procedures pertaining to financial aid programs administered by the University; provides guidelines regarding student eligibility for financial aid and other matters relating to the effective management of a comprehensive program of financial assistance for students; reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs.


  6. Graduation Committee (Baccalaureate)
    Considers and rules on student’s petitions to the Registrar for permission to receive baccalaureate degrees by exception to established University requirements for graduation; does not consider petitions for exceptions to department or college requirements for graduation; reviews and approves or disapproves exceptions to baccalaureate degree requirements if such exceptions are recommended by departments and/or colleges; considers and rules on students’ petitions to the Registrar relating to graduation with honors; reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs.


  7. Parking and Public Transportation Advisory Committee
    Reviews Parking System policies, rules, and regulations, including parking space designations and allocations; makes recommendations concerning any proposed changes in the system; reports to the Vice President for Administrative Services.


  8. Parking Violation Appeals Committee
    Hears and adjudicates appeals from students, faculty, staff members, and University visitors and guests who are not satisfied with the rulings of the Parking Appeals Officer concerning contested parking citations issued on the campus; reports to the Vice President for Administrative Services.


  9. Student Behavior Committee
    Serves as a campus-wide committee with jurisdiction to hear all charges of student misconduct against individual students, undergraduate or graduate, except for those offenses which are delegated from time to time to other committees by explicit action of the Board of Trustees; has authority to impose appropriate sanctions for established acts of student misconduct; reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs.
