Communications and Publications Subcomittee

Are Your communication talents a well-kept secret? Do you enjoy monitoring the U’s many web sites for interesting ideas, topics and happenings? Contact us… we would love to have your input, and hear your suggestions for future topics.

Staff Council’s Communications & Publications Committee, comprised entirely of staff members, was created to communicate staff/Council concerns and suggestions, as well as provide information of interest to staff employees. Our committee also coordinates several staff service projects to benefit our greater Salt Lake community.

Through the Staff News and occasional flyers, we have focused on such topics as:

  • Understanding your employee benefits
  • Becoming aware of policy and procedural changes
  • Increasing your knowledge of the roles of different University committees
  • Discovering the arts, entertainment and recreational opportunities on campus
  • Learning how to effectively contact your legislators
  • Getting to know fellow staff and departments

Past newsletters are included for your review and each new issue will be posted as it is published. We hope to address an even broader range of topics in the future.
