Free Dance Lessons
Every Thursday night during the semester, you can participate in FREE swing dance lessons.
Our new regular location will be in the ballroom in the Union building. But, we will also sometimes be in the gymnasium inside the Naval Science Building. Always check for us in the ballroom first. (map) The lessons, for any who are interested, start at 7:30pm, and after the lesson there is open dancing until about 11:00pm. Anyone can come, regardless of age or the school you attend. We teach beginner lessons, and intermediate and advanced stuff to people who have been around a while and are interested. Basically, you will decide what you want to learn. Whatever type of swing it is, we'll teach it. We focus on vintage swing dances, primarily Lindy Hop, but if you'd like to learn something else, let us know! Wear whatever you want.
