What

The International Health Club is proud to present "A CHOICE Moment" with the Centers for Humanitarian Outreach and Cultural Exchange (CHOICE). CHOICE is a local international relief organization that sends volunteers on health, education and sustainable development expeditions to the poorest 20% of the earths population. CHOICE main focus is to improve indigenous people's lives through active, enduring humanitarian service.

The executive directors of CHOICE have expressed an interest in working more closely with the newly created International Health Program at the University of Utah School of Medicine. They are interested in working with the IHP to continue to improve education, clerkship and service opportunities for students wishing to participate in International Clerkships.

They have prepared a video, slide presentation and will bring various collectables from the various countries they have visited. International food samplers and beverages will be provided. This will be an excellent opportunity for the interested student to learn more about the Univeristy of Utahs IHP, possible International Health Clerkship destinations, ask questions about International Health and learn how you can get involved.
