The Medical Center TRAX line, which runs east-west on S.Campus Drive from the Stadium Station then north-south on Medical Drive, has been in operation since Sept. 29. Motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians need to pay special attention and always follow these safety rules when near the tracks.

Rule #1
Watch for trains at all times or you may never whistle again.

Rule #2
Unless you have train wheels, stay off the track. Always use crosswalks and never jaywalk.

Rule #3
Good ways not to get smashed: Obey all traffic signs and signals. Don’t go around a lowered gate.

Rule #4
Practice your roundabout technique: Always yield to traffic inside the roundabout. Drive counter-clockwise. If you miss your turn-off, go around again.

Rule #5
Don’t get grooved. Ride your bike at a 90-degree angle to the track.
