Buttons for linking

Option A:

To add the desired button to your website:

1. Right click your mouse button (Windows) or Control click your mouse (Mac) and choose "Save file as..." to save the Image to your computer.
   
   
2. Copy the html code to the right of the button you have chosen and add it your web page. Note: you may need to edit the "img src " code (bold text) to reflect the location of the image on your server.

Option B:

Instead of saving the image to your own web server or computer, you may also use the html code below as it is, with the image source being the absolute url pointing to the UWEBRESOURCES web server.

Giving to the U

Help raise money for your college or department! The University Development Office has created a secure on-line giving form which is designed for websites to link and auto-fill the name of your college, department, or program on the “designation” pulldown menus of the form. Use the “Giving to the U” button to link to the form.

Interactive Campus Map

The interactive campus map is designed to allow students, faculty, staff, and visitors to explore the University of Utah campus over the internet. The Map Tools allow the user to examine areas of the campus map at any map scale and identify and view information on most campus. The Search Tools allow the user to search or browse for a department/building from an alphabetized pick list, or, by entering a portion of the desired build/department name.

Other Option:

Link to a custom UMap URL that is designed to open the campus map with a specific building (e.g. where your department is located) labeled, centered, and zoomed into. To do this, the URL is http://www.map.utah.edu/umaplink/xxxx.html (where xxxx is the 4 digit building number of the desired building).

Example: http://www.map.utah.edu/umaplink/0179.html (This links directly to the map identifying Eccles Broadcast Center)

If you don't know your building number, use the Location Finder or the Hotlink on the map itself to get to the pop-up page with detailed information about the location. Both the Building Number and Location URL are listed on that page.

Why Utah? A Guide for Future Graduate Students

The Graduate School has created an on-line guide, “Why Utah” for future graduate students. You may use it as a marketing tool to assist you in your department’s recruiting efforts.

Screensavers of the U

Two computer screensavers, one made from campus photos and the other from Rice-Eccles Stadium photos. Downloads for both Windows and Mac computer are available at different resolutions. Each has a preview that requires the Flash plug-in.
