The Art Study Group meets at 1:00 PM on the fourth Thursday in September, October, January, February, March, April, and May. The group visits local galleries and private art collections. We learn about the artists and study their style of painting through the exhibits. At least once a year, we meet with one of the artists and hear how he or she got started, view what current works, and enjoy a Q&A session.

The Book Club meets at 7:00 PM on the second Wednesday in October, November, January, February, March, and April at member homes to discuss a book chosen for that month by the hostess. We have a theme each year and choose our books accordingly.

The Bridge Group meets at the homes of members at 1:00 PM on the first Thursday of the month (September through May) to play bridge. Dessert is served.

Food and Friends on Friday is a themed potluck dinner group for members and their guests. It meets in homes at 7:00 PM on the 3rd or 4th Friday in September, October, November, February, March, and April. The hostess selects the theme for her dinner, which may focus on seasonal foods, traditional dishes or a cuisine from a particular region of the country or the world.

The Literature Group meets in members’ homes at 1:00 on the fourth Monday from September through May, excluding December. A member of the group reviews a book and encourages discussion. Book selections vary widely and include history, novels, and poetry.

The Lunch Bunch meets at a local restaurant at
1:30 PM every third Wednesday from September through May. We go to a different restaurant each month, often trying new places. We usually visit restaurants in the University/downtown area or Sugarhouse so that members who are employed at the University can attend.

The Music Group, meets at the homes of members at 1:00 PM on the first Monday of October, November, February, March, and April for live performances by University students, guests and group members. Meetings usually include a selection of songs for members to sing together.
